THere is a huge diference between attacking the Israel government and the Jewish state of Israel. The latter is a hate crime. No ifs. buts or maybes

However, criticism of Israel similar to that leveled against any other country cannot be regarded as antisemitic. Antisemitism frequently charges Jews with conspiring to harm humanity, and it is often used to blame Jews for “why things go wrong.” It is expressed in speech, writing, visual forms and action, and employs sinister stereotypes and negative character traits.

To accuse someone of criminality and associate them with Israel tars the nation with the same brush therefore it is clearly antisemitism.

Criminality is perceived by most as being a negative character trait.
Therefore the accusation clearly stands.
