The stitches came out of my forehead this morning and no brains fell out! The doctor says that I had a "calcified hematoma" that had to be pretty old because it had formed a little ridge of bone on one side. The ridge stays, as it would need to be chiseled out and we agreed that it wasn't worth doing.
