I never knew that Worcestershire sauce contained anchovies, but I have never had a problem with that sauce, or even Asian fish sauce in moderation, so the fermentation process must break down the day-old catfood-in-a-can smell a lot.

Baked beans like Heinz canned bb's or a home made, totally different dish? My first image was a salad with Heinz bb's which is a bit of a mind blast, so maybe more info is needed to clarify what sort of bb's you are referring to.
