Get it sorted under warranty, Vintage is a big enough brand to cope with returns and repairs.
Depends on how helpful your shop is...

I used to buy a lot of Vintage 'B stock' cheap on ebay.
There were a few sellers who seemed to be clearing out Vintage guitars with minor issues..
