For the blast-off went banging and buzzing and fizzing
And up from the moon the rocket went whizzing.
Away went the moonbeast, he whizzed through the night
As the rocket that carried him fizzed out of sight.

But somewhere he landed, of that there's no doubt;
For people are constantly pointing him out.
And night after night, as at stars they stare,
Astronomers notice him there - the Great Bear.
