Les Noden, down in Brixham, wrote a very good song called Mermaids - about the home lives of working fisherfolk.

He was hoping the late Bill Caddick and Barrie Roberts were going to publish it in Songsmith magazine. I lost contact with Barrie for a few years - although I went see him a few months before he died.

I don't know if Bill and Barrie ever got round to it. I know they'd said to Les they wanted to.
