In my head, I am imagining Maddy Prior of Steeleye Spann singing it, but that could be wrong. It's possibly a returning soldier and his girl-type dialogue, but I can't think of any more of the story. I can fill out the 'something's a bit, though. It's For the misty morning, or And the cloudy morning, or similar, brings in the brighter day, or dawns the sunny day, or heralds the clear new day . . .
