Yes, Amos is a real stinker; he's been crucifying me for months and months. Has a special, culturally-relevant death for each group, that one. He is nothing if not accurate! *G*

Amos is a wonderful foil for working out what one really thinks and believes. It was Amos with whom I worked out the general notion that one who would kill to be faithful to the tenets of a supposed belief system is not living a belief system worth believing in. What I meant by it was not so different from what some of you have said, above-- God save us from those who believe, but so imperfectly that they twist what meant to love into their own intent to kill.

What AMOS meant by it, hmmm... you'd have to ask him!
