Further down on recording 16 on the above Tobar link is a recording about which it says

"The air 'The Dark Island' played on the fiddle, followed by the jig 'Paddy's Leather Breeches'. This is followed by a discussion on the composer of 'The Dark Island'. Mrs MacKenzie says it was composed by Lachlann Bàn, a blind piper from Benbecula, and that John [Iain] MacLachlan got it from him."
