I suspect that there is intellegent life out there. Just because we haven't found it doen't mean anything. Untill 98 years ago we didn't have a heavier than air craft capable of flight. If I were them, I'd avoid us like the plague mainly because we find out things that we're not necessarily capable of handling in a mature fashion. (Nuclear, chemical and biological Weapons for starters) Couple that fact withour seemingly inherant violent tendencies, why would they want to contact us?
