You and I are almost always on the same side of every argument, but it's extremely noticeable that you rarely explicitly support my position or even engage with anything I say at all. Don't worry, I'm not crying. But on the one occasion you don't agree, you do that rare wading-in to a music thread and you attack me. So here's where I am. The bloke who started this thread is a long-time pernicious and vexatious poster to this board, and, as such, he was banned. Joe Offer did not agree with that and I fully expect him to wade in here any minute to excoriate me, but I don't care. The poster in question has repeatedly tried to use his Max-given right to post above the line as a guest to reignite his far-right politicising via music threads, doing what the far right do best, pretending to be hurt fluffy-bunnies. In my view, and only in my view, he should NOT be starting threads here. Not my gig. I can't think of any other forum on which this wild-west laissez-faire would be even remotely contemplated.
