A recent big budget movie where historical music was used to great effect,
was "The Outlaw King" [Netflix]..

I posted a link on an earlier thread regarding the music supervisor's role
in recruiting folk musicians and academic advisers,
but I now can't find it...

Nit pickers might have a go at the music in this movie at their leisure..

The film itself is structurally flawed,
characters and events probably historically 'modified' for dramatic effect,
but it is still a very entertaining blood n guts battle romp...
