Like Bill, we stock up during special offers, and we have the space to store bog rolls, kitchen towels, tissues, kindling wood, firefighters and, very importantly, wine. So we haven't had to do any panic buying. I have loads of canned and bottled tuna and canned tomatoes and beans. But I always have!

The only worry could be fresh milk and fruit and veg. But there are millions worse off than us and with a lot more to worry about. If we die, it will be from Coronavirus, not starvation or malnutrition, and we have a roof over our heads and we have enough fuel to keep us going until next Christmas. There are many who are not so lucky. And lucky is the word...
