I remember meeting up with Peter at chippenham festival, him showing me his empty gig diary and saying to me that he did not think Ireland would be his salvation, this was the year i was moving to ireland, and a few moths before he committed suicide, he turned up at a spot i was doing and afterwards gave me a compliment [for him] you are not bad, we discussed one or two other performersand the changing folk scene
A dynamic performer an accomplished songwriter, a very good artist and sadly missed
