"Ah!" mutters the daft Old Lady. "Jelly! Jelly! Now I remember!" She opens the large fridge behind the bar and takes out a huge wobbly strawberry jelly, serves it up in several dessert dishes with a generous dollop of dairy ice-cream on each, and hands them round. The dear little bat detaches itself from the warm toes of Smiling African Man, flutters its wings and gobbles up its portion of jelly and ice cream.
