Allow me to share a couple reality checks I endured. Introducing a class I was about to teach in high school 5 years ago, I mentioned John Kennedy. A student said, "Isn't that the guy who dated Daryl Hannah?" Groan. My stepson listened to a music documentary and then said, "I didn't know Paul McCartney was one of the Beatles?" He later pointed out that the Beatles were singing an Aerosmith song, "Come Together." Longevity has its drawbacks.
