about a US industry in which
a staff of beekeepers drive a truck/lorry or two
from farm to farm,
with a colony of really overworked angry honeybees on board.

This story has been reported in some detail
in more than one periodical.
I read one such account
with an interview of one of the beekeepers and
he talked matter-of-fact-ly
about how cross the overworked honeybees are.

Far better to be a great furry bumblebee
than a member of a captive swarm of touring honeybees.
