I have always felt that Fridays were unlucky because Jesus was crucified on a Friday. I have no evidence, I just assumed it.

Similarly, I have felt that thirty has a bad rep (as in "I felt like thirty cents.") because Judas was paid thirty pieces of silver. I wonder how common that expression about thirty cents is.
