One good thing...The older you get, the less people care about you, or, so it would seem. So, by the same token, the less anybody cares about you getting old. But, when you're young, you've got to be young so perfectly, do it just right, don't screw up. You have more freedom to screw up at being old. (???)

I felt old the other day for a moment...looked at my page-a-day 'Forgotten English' calendar. The word for the day, I suddenly realized...people used to use, when I was young! I could recall saying it (Happened to be the word, 'daw.')-- or, I thought we used to say it.
