In Keith Kendrick's version, and several others, the first line of the third verse is "There's Venus and Volum they are both joined as one". Volum does not seem to exist if googled etc. Could this be a corruption of Vulcan, who was, in legend, one of Venus's lovers? I have no proof, of course, but shall probably substitute Vulcan for Volum when singing this song.
