Hi, its weird! I was just singing the words to this childhood song that I knew over 40 yrs ago. It just popped in my head. I was laughing to its silly lyrics and thought "What the heck! Is this song for real? So I decided to check the internet and here you are asking for the words.. So I'm not crazy after all..lol.
Here goes:

There was a man who had a horsey-lum, had a horsey-lum down in Demarara,
And that poor horse he fell a sicky-lum down in Demarara.
And here we sit like birds in the wilderness down in Demerara...Lol

Is there a moral to this whimsical song. It may sound sill but I have fond memories of singing and dancing to it with my friends.
