S Slipping away, so refresh.

Here's an extract from the newsletter just sent out by John Heydon (the organiser)to tempt people.

From the Irish tradition we welcome from South Armagh, Mick Quinn, regarded by many of the younger singers as the father of Northern Ireland's song tradition, Patricia Flynn, a haunting singer with that rich and robust round voice which has come to be associated with Irish female singers - Patricia is, again, from County Armagh; and finally from Ireland, Danny Meehan, originally from Donegal.

Danny is really one of the last of the great old time fiddle players - he seems unable to platy the same piece twice in the same way! Danny will be joined by his good friend Dermot Kearney, booked not only to play the banjo but also to keep an eye on him!
