Thread Name: 'Fall of Trump' songs
Subject: RE: 'Fall of Trump' songs
Okay Obs, let's see yours! - asked fellow UK resident Steve Gardham a few days ago.

Well Steve, I would like to know why I as a British citizen would want to parody some ditty that fell into the category described in the title of this thread? What would be the purpose and the point?

I dare say had the vote gone the other way and songs about Joe losing started to appear [Don't think that there any about Hillary losing last time round] I think most posting here would be complaining about tasteless and unhelpful "triumphalism".

My comment regarding Donuel's parody effort [13 Nov 20 - 07:43 PM] was that when compared to others was pretty pathetic.

In general the "songs" fortunately are all pretty well time limited and thankfully the harm they might or might not do is mitigated by the fact that the prats penning them have no opportunity to "air" them in public.

Joe Biden has got a tough enough job ahead of him as it is - Best let him get on with it unhampered and unhindered.

Old English saying - "Least said soonest mended."
