Though I err to the sins and temptations of life
In darkness and danger no longer I stray
I'm looking beyond earthly burdens and strife
I'll live in a glorified body someday

I'm a-going to have a new body someday
A glorified body that cannot decay
Then I'll sing and shout and never wear out
Praise God, I shall have a new body someday

I'm a-waiting for Jesus, my Savior, to come
In power and in glory He soon shall appear
A body He'll give me and welcome me Home
What gladness to know my redemption is near

Created anew in the image of God
My body, like His, shall all glorious be

I'll live in His presence, rejoicing and free
