My Beautiful Wife (of 37 years standing) is a classical pianist. One of the things that made me immediately attractive when we met, she says, was my taste in music--classical guitar, some chamber music, symphonic-- and a large collection of folk music records. I wooed her, in part, singing Robert Burns' "Bonnie Wee Thing" to her. I still call her "Bonnie Wee Thing" occasionally. One problem: I'll be playing the banjo in the living room, and she will banish me to other parts of the house because she has to practice the piano. You can't tuck a 5' 6" Steinway Grand under your arm and take it elsewhere, can you?
