in my experience most artists i have known are not concerned about holding artists back , they often help other artists and encourage them ,but they are most concerned with their own careers.every performer wants to carry on performing as long as they can it is kind of addictive. the stones areonly concerned with promoting themselves having a good time and playing music ,nothing wrong with that, let them carry on
