Sing the Bay Fantastic: Celebrate life on the water with Janie Meneely & Rob van Santé, Lee Murdock, and George Ward.
This online concert is also a stealth publication party for Janie’s new book, Sing the Bay Fantastic, which highlights the music, history, and culture of American waterways. Janie, the author of instant classics such as “Twiddles” and “Nasty Nell,” writes hilarious and poignant songs about the people who live on the waterways. While Janie’s songs focus on the Chesapeake Bay, where she grew up, Lee Murdock sings of the Great Lakes, and George Ward sings of the Erie Canal and upstate New York waters.
