BTW, I'm pretty sure that The Stones reacted to The Beatles my deliberately adopting a " bad boy" rebellious image. For example, I think that they were the first rock group - in the UK - to dump those silly suits. And, they decided to write some rebellious songs "Satisfaction", "Get off my cloud" etc. And this was all to try to step out of The Beatles shadow with a very different image. Of course, it might all have been Andew Oldham's idea.
