People with empathy will disregard any such hateful contrayian BS and pity the chronic pain of its author. Countless apologies usually follow the offensive insults in hundreds of cases. Like Trump behavior, it is not likely to change at this point. A belief that being a guardian of truth and precision justifies such behavior is fortunately a rare and narcissistic trait, except in social media.
