I'm not budging off win 8.1.
And would run old XP and win 7 machines offline with obsolete legacy music software and hardware.

The dilemma will be if and when I can ever afford a new high power music DAW PC or laptop.

Music software is having to move onto win 10 for updates,
despite all the inherent flaws dangers and shite in that malfunctioning operating system.

I've already encountered new music software which refuses to install on win 8.1.
