The worst songs to me are the ones which seem to involve somebody banging 4-in-a-bar on a big cardboard box in the back of a boy-racer mobile.

We used to go to the theatre with a friend, then in his 80s. One evening a car went past as we were waiting to cross the road, with the bodywork going "boom, boom, boom...".

Reg watched it pass, then said "My grandson's got that tune in his car".
