. Jack has gone to Germany to busk and work as a one-man band. He loses everything when he's attacked and left for dead at the side of the road. After a stay in hospital, he's overwhelmed by the kindness of a pair of young doctors who offer him a place to stay and recuperate over the harsh German winter. He soon finds himself absorbed into a welcoming community and meeting a woman who he adores.
Not all is harmonious in the village though. A group of Neo-Nazis are menacing a refugee hostel, ultimately leading to tragic consequences. Jack becomes involved as the community unites to fight the menace in their midst.
