Its a great privilege to have a parent stay with you to the point where you' re a developed human being yourself.

I'm not sure you ever really talk to them as equals, the way things are nowadays. The world moves on so fast - that we grow up in very different worlds from our parents.

I remember Miki and Griff - they used to be part of the Lonnie Donnegan experience. He had very long hair that he used to pull over the front of his face as a gag - and they did great harmonies. In later years they did the domestic Country and Western scene, which Margaret Thar butchered along with the coal mines, and miners welfares.
