I haven't gone over this post in any detail, but right away I spotted the first line:
"funchd an Dubhlachd" which must mean "fuachd an Dubhlachd", the cold of December. Roimhimm should be roimhinn", before us, also spelled "romhainn".

Even Celtic Lyrics Corner, usually quite a good site, has these errors which are repeated all over the internet.

The first verse is love in the cold of Dec and going into the spring when the flowers awaken. The second verse love in summer (samhradh, Gradh geal an t-samhraidh = the bright love of summer) and the third verse autumn (foghar, "oiteag an fhoghair", the autumn breeze), fourth verse begins When the freezing winter [cutting]like a lance ...
"Seasmhach" and "buan" both refer to permanance.

The song was recorded by Capercaillie, and I suspect it is a fairly recent composition. Is an author given on the album credits?
