Charmion, it does, and that is an excellent example.

It's also an example of a hymn where two slightly different versions are current:
    His reign shall stretch from shore to shore
      Till moons shall wax and wane no more / Till suns shall rise and set no more.

In this case it's not obvious which is the original and which the changed version (although I could no doubt find out), nor why it was thought necessary to make the change.
