I may be wrong but I think cujimmy has confused the Fishermens Rowing Club with the Friendship Rowing Club.
The Fishermens would certainly not be big enough to allow more than twenty at the most to be sufficiently spaced.
The Friendship does have a large concert room upstairs.

Also Mr Red, Whitby does not have the number of suitable air freshened areas that Sidmouth has.
The Plough yard in the past was a good place to be and Vin Garbutt launched his professional career from there one year. Such a thing would be impossible to do these days as the pub belongs to Sam Smiths and all enjoyment is banned. Even presentations without music such as interviews, things with string, origami and shepherd's stick making were considered too racy - and as for storytelling - well???
