Well I didn't know it was your birthday, but today I ate a Portuguese pastel de nata (a Portuguese custard tart), a very rare event for me (unless I'm in Portugal, or sitting outside Lutzy's at Exeter Quay in Devon on a warm Saturday afternoon). So I'll offer that up to you as a birthday cake thang.
