The Chieftains are one of my favourite bands. I can listen to their music over and over again and never get tired of it. In fact many of their albums are on the USB in my car stereo so I do listen to them a lot when I am driving.

I love the uillean pipes so I can probably attribute my love of them mostly to Paddy Moloney.

My other Chieftains hero, also now deceased, is the harper Derek Bell.

Imagine the music sessions they'll be having up there in heaven.
