NPR's All Things Considered had a feature story this week,
too quick for me but just enough to hold one's attention.
This one is about Congressional districts and what is known as
gerrymandering.
It's happening in Texas now, according to the report on the air.
And it happened in a very, how to say,
businesslike fashion,
with little public fanfare and a lot of behind-closed-doors planning.


I don't know how it is possible, with gerrymandering,
for Texas to go from having
one congressional district with a high African-American population
to having ...
zero such districts. How??
