Roy Harris was a very experienced performer, who specialised in getiing audiences to join in chorus singing.
It is inappropiate IMO, to mention experienced perfomers such as Harris or Campbell to an inexperienced newbie, they took years to learn their trade, yes they are good role models, but those skills are not learned overnight
