I've called for stronger fireworks controls repeatedly myself in this thread, John. I've said that sales should be restricted to adults only and that fireworks should be restricted to bonfire night only. And I could be reminding you of the petulant outbursts of expletives from the chap with wafer-thin house walls. I haven't driven anyone away, either. We're all grown-ups here who are free to go. Or stay.

Interestingly, for a refreshing change round here I've only heard fireworks on 5 November.
