Just a correction— I doubt my father got huge sums of money. He did oversell shares though. More like several thousand here or there, or a few hundred from random people. I have no idea what he did with the money from the investors… one was a Japanese Company that offered to publish the encyclopedia. My father kept the advance and we left town.
