HARVEY LOGAN

Out of all the incidents in Harvey Logan's violent, roving, and criminal life, this ballad focuses on a barroom fight and shootout with the police that took place in Knoxville, Tenn. in December, 1901; the jailbreak which, in this account, sounds like it was immediately afterward, was actually in June, 1903.
