Tune files and pdf of sheet music from Bunting's transcriptions can be found online at https://simonchadwick.net/2021/12/bruach-na-carraige-baine.html

The tunes here are very different from what I am most familiar with
Séamus Ó Beaglaíoch & Mary Black https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqeOccikDRY

Nell Ni Chróinín's version is closer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NF3sQDg18s

The tune I know for the West's Awake is different again, to my ears. Damien Dempsey and chorus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0H-NZ06QbvM

I looked at the manuscript https://digital-library.qub.ac.uk/digital/collection/p15979coll9/id/435/rec/2 which Rory gives a link to above. Several spellings differ from the standard - well it is old - but he has given a faithful transcription. Ale is two words, however, A le; I suspect an error as the line makes more sense with simply Le taobh na Carraige Báine (or a's [agus] le taobh na Carraige Báine). The sound of a c or a g in the word "Carraig" (a rock,of the rock "na carraige",vs "Carraice") would not make a huge difference pronunciation. C is usually a crisper sound than g, and may fairly represent what Bunting heard. Thomas O'Neill's translation is close enough to the original.
