Pete Seeger and Percy French were both born in May and both died in JANUARY. I have added them to the Any May Songs thread. This month I heard someone dedicate a Percy French song to the author on the anniversary of his death, but on consideration, birthdays are usually the suitable time for commemorating deceased singers and songwriters, though of course we sing some of their songs all year round.
