On a more serious note, in addition to Steve's question, is the Republican party likely to nominate Trump again or has the balance of power there switched to the saner elements? I don't know how that side of it works so any info would be appreciated.

And what are the chances of the well outdated electoral college system being replaced with one man one vote? Surely everyone can see how undemocratic it is to have some states carry more weight because they owned more slaves! Or have I got that wrong too?
