In Goderich, Ontario, the Celtic Roots Festival and its associated music camp, the Celtic College, are going ahead this year (unless, of course, something truly bad happens).
For those who don't like to faff around, here's a link to the Celtic College registration page: https://www.celticfestival.ca/celtic-college
Goderich is a delightful town on the east shore of Lake Huron. Launched in 1993, the Celtic Roots Festival was founded by a couple of high school teachers who wanted to promote vernacular acoustic music in the community while adding a major tourist draw.
I have attended the college almost every year since 2000, and the festival most years. It's always a good time, especially for families, and the music instruction -- particularly strong for fiddlers and people who play things with strings and frets -- is always excellent.
