A few comments from 'Not A. Fan' of the S.Martin banjo shtick ....

At a Red Rocks concert a few years (Lakewood, Colorado), the concert lineups was Arlo Guthrie, S.Martin/Steep Canyon Rangers/Emmy Lou Harris and her hot band .... great performers, right?

So Arlo opened the show (30-40 minutes) followed by S. Martin (banjo) and the Steep Canyon Rangers. These bozos hogged the stage for over 2 hours (lots of patter/schtick). By the time Emmy Lou showed up with her band it was past 10:30pm (and we left).

Fast forward .... the Steep Canyon Rangers played Rocky Grass 2022 (Lyons, CO) yesterday and we caught the show. Kind of boring, really.

Sorry Mr. Martin, you should stick with your
