The chord on "bad" ? I have always used a diminished chord here, but I can see the merit of an A flat as well. I don't think an augmented chord works, and I also don't see an F# working too well, Mark, as the actual note you are singing is E flat, which doesn't form part of an F# chord. I like your other suggestions, though.
