Did anyone else see this series this week? It was aired in three segments on successive evenings. It is a Ken Burns presentation, and like all of his projects, it is very well done. And like those of so many other countries, the USA's skirts are shown to be forever soiled.

It makes me wonder, however, just how many of today's atrocities are we ignoring now?
